After Christmas, we headed down to the cabin for some fun in the snow!! First the boys (all of "my boys"!!) went to Wolf Creek Ski Resort located about 20 minutes from the cabin. Boston struggled last year to "like" to ski! This year, he was awesome!! He took a private lesson then spent the afternoon on the "Blue Diamonds" with Brian. (None of us really know what he's talking about but I think "Blue Diamonds" are his words for "the bunny hills"!!) We couldn't get him off the slopes! He kept asking Brian for "one more run"! I was so glad he liked it this year. He really does well!
The next day, we went down to the little fishing pond in Willow Park (the development where the cabin is located) and it was completely frozen over. So we plowed off the snow and made our own Ice Rink and had a big Hockey game! It was a blast! We had goals on either side and we all had sticks. It was so much fun...
After the hockey game, we built a fire and roasted marshmallows. Jason & Mel and their kids were there and so was Grandpa and Grandma Rhees. What a great time!
We went tubing as well.... We found this HUGE sledding hill and took the 4 wheelers up and dropped off the kids to race down the hill! It was so cool!
Boston cruised down the hill on a little plastic saucer! I can't believe he wasn't scared to death! He loved it!
