Christmas 2009

Christmas was awesome this year... we enjoyed staying home and just being together! The boys lined up at the top of the stairs like they do EVERY year, but this year.... I couldn't help but notice how big they were getting! Time just goes by way too fast! It is hard to believe we may only have 4 more Christmases until Paden is off on a mission or college! CRAZY!

Paden is an Eagles fan and Grif a Colts fan.... Bos???? He's a gun fan!!!! (Who knows what is going on with the goggles!!)

The big thing this year was "NERF GUNS"!!! All FOUR of my boys, (yes, I am counting Brian!) absolutely loved the nerf guns~ we have had TONS of "wars" at our house since Christmas... tables turned over to create "bunkers", plenty of "OW! Right in the face!" and thankfully, no trips to the ER.... YET!! When things go "Military War Zone" at my house.... all I can do is grab a gun or head for cover!!!

This pic of Brian was perfect! I snapped the picture just as he was getting nailed in the head with a nerf dart! We've decided Paden is our "sniper".... his aim is dead on!!!

This picture of Pade and Grif is a little disturbing... but, I had to document some sort of "brotherly love" in the midst of all the gunfire and warfare!!

Ok.... so Brian is going to KILL me for posting this picture but I just HAD to!!! Isn't is hilarious??!! He wanted some Under Armor for skiing and sledding so I got him this outfit.... after he opened it... he disappeared and came back out looking like this!!! I told him he should go try out for the Olympic Bobsled team!!!! Anyway, it was a good laugh on Christmas morning!

We had a great time this year.... hope you all enjoyed your holidays too!

Let's hear it for nerf guns! Seriously, I find nerf darts in places they have no business being...ie; fridge, my make-up bag etc. Nerf rules! I loved the bobsled team member...that's totally hillair! This was a fun post, Jen. I loved the pix. I miss you. loves, jes
