We had a great weekend for Father's Day this year. We went golfing on Saturday and the boys had a blast! They are all learning how to hit the ball so well. Even Bos! He just sets right up to the ball and smacks it like his brothers! I think it is safe to say, I am definitely the worst golfer in the family now! That's pretty sad when you are comparing yourself to 3 children under 13! Oh well.... I still love to go.... I'll just be the scorekeeper! =)
On Sunday, we went to Jason and Mel's house and had a barbeque and played games. It is so nice to have them living just around the corner! Our kids get along so well and we always have such a good time with them.
We played basketball:
had a couple of lawn games........
..... and even roasted marshmallows!
I am so blessed to have an awesome dad! Even though I wasn't with him on Father's Day, the boys and I had a great visit the following week. My dad is such an amazing example of what a great father should be. I have learned so much from him over the years. He and I share many of the same hobbies and interests..... one of them being golf! However, I am still terrible! Just be patient with me dad..... one of these days, I'll be able to golf with you and NOT hit a sandtrap, a house or a car!!
My father-in-law is also wonderful. It is so nice having them live so close. He is always supportive of our boys and their activities. He has raised such an amazing son whom I am ever so lucky to be married to! Here is a little shout out to both of my "dads" on this father's day : Thanks for all you do and we love you!
