Well, school has finally started and I was able to snap a couple of pictures of the boys! Paden struggled this year with the "photo op" stating he was "getting WAY to old to pose for First Day of School Pictures"!!!! AHHH! I can NOT believe he started High School this year. Yeah, it's totally killing me.... He is indeed a "freshie" at Castle View High School. He was a little nervous at first but after a couple of days, he absolutely loves it! He told me "it's nice to finally be treated like an adult instead of a kid!" He had kind of a big week.... first day of high school, golf tryouts all week, then a few days later started early morning seminary! URGH! My, how I took "released time" for granted growing up in Utah! He made the golf team and we are so proud of him! He has played in two JV tournaments already and has met some great new friends. He is enjoying seminary too. All in all, he is doing great and loving high school! Go Sabercats!
Griffin is in 5th grade at Soaring Hawk Elementary. He has an "awesome" teacher named Ms. Downey who "even goes out to recess and plays kick ball with us"!! He is practicing football 4 nights a week and keeps busy with that and homework. He is so cute with Boston because he walks him to school each day and gets him to the right place to line up. Grif is a good student, serves on the student council and is a leader in his class. I'm so proud of him! He has a birthday coming up next month and will turn 11. Wow, I can't believe that!
After three years of preschool.... Boston is finally in Kindergarten!!! Halle-freakin'- lujah!!! He thinks he is so big now because he gets to walk with Grif every day to school. They walk with a few neighbor kids and it is so cute to see them with their backpacks walking up the street! He has the best Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Emerson-Smith (or Mrs. ES). She was Grif's teacher in Kindergarten and we just love her! He also has his cousin, and best buddy, Cole, in the same class so they are excited about that! It looks like Bos will be seeing me at school occasionally, too, because I just found out I am the "room parent" for his class. Lucky me!!! =) It will be nice to sit in every once in a while and keep an eye on him in school! He loves school, his teacher and the fact that he gets to go every day! (I agree!) He just learned how to ride his bike without training wheels this weekend and now he really IS "all that"! Here is a picture of Boston, Cole and Easton on the first day of school:

Oh my gosh! They are so dang handsome! I'm so proud of all of them. They are growing up. I can't stand it! Love 'em!
You're right! They're growing up way too fast! We're so proud of them and the way they are conducting themselves...it's a great reminder of how well they have been trained.
Love,
