Oh, yeah, baby! I LOVE this time of year... it is my fave, for sure! Not only Denver Broncos football but even better, 10 year old "Dolphin" football!!! Griffin's team had their first football tournament this weekend. He is playing running back, wide receiver (when they throw it... which is rare!) safety, and linebacker. He is on a great little team with a bunch of his friends so he is having a ball! They played 3 games this weekend... lost two, won one, but all in all, they looked pretty good. They've been practicing 4 nights a week and their season opener is this Saturday.
I just love football season! I think it's one of the best, if not THE BEST, teams sports played. The team work and unity required for this sport is unlike any other. "You mess with one man- you've got us all". Eleven players on the field and when even one doesn't do his "job", it affects the entire team. Yet when each player does his part, a little magic is made on the field and it is blissful to watch! The song "Boys of Fall" is Kenny Chesney's newest and it's a good one! If you haven't heard it, listen to it or better yet, watch the video on youtube! It is awesome! I tried to upload it to our blog but it isn't "out" yet for playlists! But anyway... it's a good one!
Lookin' forward to lots of practices, chilly ballgames, mugs of hot chocolate, some pad crunching, fast running & plenty of scoring this fall! We will keep you posted!! Go Dolphins!

Okay smarty pants! How did you get these pictures inserted with a border around them? I am so inspired by what you do but figuring out - much less keeping up - is a total joke.

Guess you're the daughter of a coach (but remember I was a BB coach)! You're OK though. I just told Mom the other day how much I love FB and how I believe it to be the ultimate team sport (this coming from a 28 year BB coach). Can't help it, it's true! I love it...bring it on! Go Dolph's (and Utes)!
Next year we'll be there to see it (in person). Save a few GREAT games for us boys!
