Great weekend in Southfork!

We met my sister, Jessi, and her cute family at the cabin last weekend. They drove up from Albuquerque and met us for a couple of days. It was such a fun weekend! The kids had a ball and we always enjoy hanging with them!

We did a little of everything..... there was some 4-wheeling

some target shooting.......

a little golf........

a little hockey..........

and a fabulous birthday party!!!!

Sydney turned 4 while we were there so we celebrated with a few presents and a yummy cake! She got a new bike from her mom and dad and loved it! We were so glad we got to help her celebrate her day!

Hi Jen -
What a fun weekend. Such cute pics. So glad that seems to be good half-way meeting place for you two families. And Synny and that fairy costume you gave her is a kill. I love it when my kids get to spend time together. We sure miss you all. Loves from Boston --

wow, good times! Jen, we had such a good time. Thanks so much. Your boys are good to hang with my little ones. Park looks up to them so much and has a ball with Bos. Those 2...I don't know, I think they could burn down small villages-- completely unintentionally with their inventive, curious, crazy wims. I got a kick of them hanging out together. Birdy loves you and that birthday party was so cute. Ummm, the cake though? Don't forget the cake gel writing...it was disgusting. You can be honest even on your blog. It totally ruined the entire funfetti luciousness! Yah, learned a good lesson on that one! Shoot. love yer guts. Jes

Cute post Jen. So glad you guys are closer to Jess and Lex and fam. That makes us feel better, knowing that you guys and your sweet hospitality will reach out to them at a time when they really need it. Of course, your fam makes it appear easy to host and to love. What a nice attribute to have. Don't ever change. Way to go!

Love,
Dad
